Terms of Service

Larkfolk organizes your travel plans: it keeps your trips and bookings in one place, can find bookings in email you connect or forward, can read confirmations you paste, answers questions about your trips, shows weather, maps and directions, and lets you share trips with others. Features may change over time.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA and UK) and able to form a binding contract. If you use Larkfolk for an organization, you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms for it.

You sign in with a passkey or an email link, so keep your devices and email account secure. You're responsible for activity on your account; tell us right away at privacy@larkfolk.app if you think someone else has accessed it.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Your data.

You own the trips, bookings, notes and other content you add ("your content"). You give us a limited license to store, process, display and share your content only as needed to run Larkfolk for you and the people you share with, as described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other trip members keep on trips you shared with them.

You're responsible for your content and for having the right to share it, including information about other travelers you add. Don't add payment card, passport or government ID numbers; Larkfolk is not built to hold them.

When you connect a mailbox or forward mail to your Larkfolk address, you authorize Larkfolk to search for, read and extract travel bookings from that mail as described in our Privacy Policy. Only connect mailboxes you're allowed to, and follow your employer's rules for work accounts. You can disconnect at any time.

Larkfolk uses AI to read emails and confirmations and to answer questions. AI output can be incomplete or wrong: it may miss a booking, get a date, time, place or price wrong, or misunderstand a question. Always check important details, such as flight times, terminals, check-in times and cancellation deadlines, against the original confirmation or the provider.

Leave-by times, drive estimates, weather and directions are estimates and may not reflect live traffic, delays or schedule changes. Larkfolk is a planning aid, not an official source, and we aren't responsible for missed flights, reservations, events or other losses that result from relying on it.

Each account has a monthly allowance for AI features. When it runs out, AI features pause until it resets, and everything else keeps working. We may change the allowance and other usage limits.

You choose who sees your trips. Anyone you invite can see the trip according to the role you give them, and anyone who has a view-only link you create can see the trip's schedule and places. Only share links with people you trust; you can turn a link off at any time. You're responsible for what you share and with whom.

Don't use Larkfolk to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy rights;
• access mailboxes, accounts or trips you aren't authorized to;
• send spam, or use invitations or sign-up emails to harass anyone;
• probe, scan, overload or disrupt Larkfolk, get around its security or usage limits, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
• use automated means to access Larkfolk except through features we provide, or use Larkfolk to build a competing service;
• try to make the AI features produce harmful content or reveal other people's data.

Larkfolk works with services we don't control, such as Gmail, Outlook, Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, weather providers, and the airlines, hotels and ticket sellers whose confirmations you add. Their terms and policies govern your use of them, and we aren't responsible for their content, availability or actions.

Larkfolk is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you the price and terms before you're charged, and nothing you already use for free will start costing money without your agreement.

Larkfolk, including its software, design and branding, belongs to [Company legal name] and its licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Larkfolk as offered; they don't give you any other rights in it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

You can stop using Larkfolk and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put Larkfolk or other people at risk, and we may change or discontinue Larkfolk. Where reasonable, we'll give notice and a chance to download your data first. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability and disputes) survive the end of this agreement.

Larkfolk IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY. WE DON'T PROMISE THAT LARKFOLK WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT INFORMATION IN IT (INCLUDING ANYTHING PRODUCED BY AI) IS COMPLETE OR CORRECT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS WON'T BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, TRAVEL, BOOKINGS OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF LARKFOLK, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO LARKFOLK IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND US$50.

Some places don't allow these limits, so some may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

To the extent the law allows, you'll defend and indemnify [Company legal name] against third-party claims arising from your content, your misuse of Larkfolk, or your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state and federal courts located in [County], [State], and you and we consent to those courts' jurisdiction. If you live in the EEA, the UK or another place whose consumer laws give you the right to bring claims at home, those rights still apply. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Larkfolk. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use Larkfolkafter that means you accept the new terms.
